Our Academic Program

CIS Middle School

Middle School is made up of Upper Primary (Primary 5 and Primary 6) and Lower Secondary (Secondary 1 and Secondary 2). It prepares Upper Primary students for the transition to Lower Secondary—also known as Key Stage 3 (KS3)—and helps them get ready for the international GCSE level (Key Stage 4).

Unlike many schools, where Lower Secondary Science is taught as a single subject, we teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics as three separate subjects. This enables students to become more familiar with each field of science and better prepares them for Upper Secondary (international GCSE) studies.

We also offer a subject called Engineering and Research, which introduces students to research methods and engineering processes.

FAME Study Tour

Pawsan Campus

The IGCSE students of ConceptX International School recently embarked on an enriching educational excursion to the FAME Pharmaceuticals manufacturing facility, accompanied by their dedicated subject teachers. This immersive study tour was designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world application, allowing students to witness the intricate processes of large-scale pharmaceutical production firsthand.

During the visit, students observed the rigorous standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and explored various departments, including the research laboratories and high-tech quality control units. Engaging directly with industry professionals provided the students with invaluable insights into biochemistry, industrial safety, and the vital role of natural medicine in modern healthcare. This experience not only deepened their understanding of the IGCSE science curriculum but also sparked a newfound curiosity about potential career paths in STEM and industrial manufacturing. By stepping outside the classroom, our students returned with a broader perspective on how the concepts they study daily contribute to the health and well-being of the global community.

National Museum Study Tour Trip

Bahan Campus

Bringing history and heritage to life, the primary students of ConceptX International School recently enjoyed an inspiring educational visit to the National Museum, accompanied by their enthusiastic teachers. This vibrant field trip served as a journey through time, allowing our young learners to connect with the rich cultural legacy and artistic traditions of our nation. As they walked through the grand galleries, students marveled at ancient artifacts, royal regalia, and intricate traditional costumes, turning their social studies lessons into a tangible and memorable experience.

The tour was carefully curated to spark curiosity and foster a sense of national pride. Teachers guided the students through interactive storytelling and observational activities, encouraging them to think critically about how the past shapes our present identity. From admiring the craftsmanship of centuries-old jewelry to exploring the evolution of local art, the children were captivated by the stories behind every exhibit. This excursion not only enriched their academic knowledge but also helped develop their appreciation for historical preservation and cultural diversity, leaving them with lasting memories of a day spent exploring the treasures of our heritage.
